female roommate needed
I am looking for a female roommate for my 2 bed apartment on Porter st, right by 28th & burlingame. Rent is $245 and $50 (half of) cable/internet bill. It is a 12 month lease and I need someone by Oct 14th hopefully, but earlier is ok your room is ready anytime. You would have your own room, and access to kitchen, living room, bathroom, parking, and trash pick up, and laundry facility! It is close to both malls! 13 minutes away from GRCC. I have a ferret (he doesn’t bite or smell) and I smoke but I will smoke outside only if you would like. Please call my cell: 616-617-8238 or email me at FerretJ8@aol.com. Thanks so much for reading this!

So, we thinking of doing an Anti-Prom thing ever again?
Thursday, February 17th, 2005
Celestial Mischief, is missing a mic stand.
We accidentally left it behind at the Anti-Prom.
It's one of the kinds that are straight up and down, and has a weighted bottom.
We would be very appreciative of it if someone could please put it aside for us, Dave the Wave (yours truly) will probably be the one to retrieve it. I don't know how or when.
But keep me informed if you know anyhting. Thanks!

it looks as though we've lost sensual armed forces due to some sort of argument between one of the members and someone who isn't involved in the planning of the anit-prom but who will be working door.
i'm going to flyer some parking lots tonight.

OK, so there have been some things tossed aroundin other forums about changes that may or may not have happened with Anti-Prom scheduling, bands playing, etc. Can someone just please clarify these things so that some of the people involved on the band side will know what the hell is happening before we show up?

1. tribe of a new rising sun
2. the corrosive kids
3. celestial mischief

all in all, kids, we're looking good.
we need to clean. apparently, carraway54
has already started this endeavor. because of a little miscommunication, she was doing it alone. i'm not doing anything this sunday (january 23rd), so let's all head down to morningstar75's basement and pretty it up.
if anyone has any nifty decorations, feel free to donate them. while we won't be able to put them up yet, i have a spare room we can store them in until the big day arrives.
other than that, we're pretty much ok. we've got a guy to do sound, we've got bands, we've got music. i just need a pair of shoes i can get down and dirty in, while still appearing fab-u-lous.
so, sunday the 23rd. we need to clean.
katherine, can you ok this with justin for me?

we need at least three guys willing to be bouncers at the prom. though we're not supplying alcohol, we need to make sure nothing horrible occurs.
anti-prom is saturday, february 12th (the saturday before valentine's day). doors open at 6, first band goes on at 7.
it's being held at morningstar 75, on the corner of weston and division.
entry is $5. we're providing food and non-alcoholic drink. if you want anything else, it's up to you to bring it.
if you're in a band that will be playing, please contact me with an email address or a phone number that you can easily be reached at.

also, i tried to contact jon pataky to confirm sensual armed forces, but he hasn't responded. katherine, you mentioned that you had confirmed with him? i need to have a way of contacting him so i can connect him with the sound guy.
oh, i found a guy to do sound for us.
we need to clean, and i thought we were going to do it this sunday, but carraway54
said she needed to get with one of the morningstar employees.
i haven't heard anything from her.
also, i'm going to make a very, very, very slight adjustment to one of the fliers, then have thee_kaos_child
print them off at work. i will flier as many parking lots as i can, but i need someone to take the community college and gvsu lots (or to just put fliers up on their bullitin boards).
we need to pull this together.
also, besides soda and punch, what kind of food do we want to provide people with? i'm thinking dry stuff. after all, they're only paying $5 to get in and to listen to all these bands.
Friday, January 7th, 2005
alright, so i heard from EPC, and they aren't going to be able to make it. they have a prior engagement to help save puppies with music, and since it's puppies, they can't cancel.
so, we have a decision. do we go on with four bands, or find a fifth. i'm kind of all for finding a fifth. if anyone has any suggestions, throw them at us.
the lunchables, at one point, mentioned interest.
also, cleaning. we need to. let's make a big day of it. i have several people i've conned into helping me in the real world, and i'm sure if we cross-posted, we could get more worker bees from live-journal. as [info]zonker1984 said, weekends are probably good. saturdays don't work for me, since i work every saturday. sundays work super well, though.
so, we should probably plan on a sunday. anyone have objections to next sunday, the 16th?
also, also. how are the fliers coming? i want to get them printed out and start distributing them soon. to save money, we should probably try to size them down and fit multiples on a single sheet and cut them apart. also, we'll want to have a few bigs ones to put on bulletin boards.
Thursday, December 30th, 2004
also, we need a flier for the anti-prom. and volunteers to help clean the morningstar 75 basement.

Bands We Have Confirmed
Sensual Armed Forces
The Prom Dates
Tribe of A New Rising Sun
We're still waiting on confirmation from Edgerton's Pen Conspiracy.
If they don't confirm, then we also have The Lunchables on the back-burner.
Tribe wants to play first. I'm going to assume that won't be a problem.
